Mining slurry and dredge hose
Rubber hose for slurry, tailings and sand in grinding circuits, dredges and processing plants. Soft SBR or natural rubber (NR) tube with high abrasion resistance that outlasts steel pipe in abrasive duty. A first batch of this line has already been delivered to the mining sector.
Applications
Slurry pump discharge, cyclone feed and overflow, tailings lines, sand and gravel dredge suction and discharge, concentrate transfer in processing plants and grinding circuits in gold, iron ore and aggregates mining.
A soft rubber tube absorbs particle impact instead of being cut by it, which is why a properly specified slurry hose lasts several times longer than the same run in steel pipe.
Construction
- Abrasion-resistant SBR or natural rubber (NR) tube formulated for suspended-solids service.
- Textile plies, with a steel helix where the line works in suction or in self-supporting spans.
- Rubber cover resistant to weather and impact.
- Ends prepared to suit the connection on the customer's equipment.

Solid type, particle size and slurry velocity define the tube construction. Send us particle size, solids concentration and line velocity and we recommend the right compound and reinforcement for each section.
