Chemical and treated water hose
Rubber hose for diluted acids and alkalis, treated water, production chemicals and industrial cleaning. High-purity EPDM tube, textile reinforcement and steel helix, with camlock, flange or threaded ends.
Applications
Dosing and transfer of caustic soda, hypochlorite, diluted hydrochloric and sulfuric acid, coagulants and polymers in water treatment plants; additives and inhibitors in oil production; hot water and cleaning solutions in food and beverage plants; demineralized and treated water in boilers and cooling towers.
Construction
- High-purity EPDM tube with no migrating plasticizers, suitable for treated water.
- Textile plies and steel helix for suction and to hold the section.
- EPDM cover resistant to chemicals, ozone and weather.
- Stainless steel or polypropylene fittings depending on the fluid.
Chemical compatibility
EPDM performs very well with diluted acids and bases, alcohols, ketones and hot water, and must not be used with hydrocarbons, oils or aromatic solvents. For those fluids the right hose is the NBR-tube oil hose. Send us the product name and concentration and we confirm compatibility before quoting.
Testing and traceability
Every batch is hydrostatically tested before shipping and identified by batch and compound number, so your quality department can trace any installed length.
